National Schools Partnership turns 21

Our CEO Mark Fawcett reminisces on the last 21 years, and what we've learned working with teachers and young people.

It seems like only yesterday but 2004 was a very different place. Nokia Flip phones ruled, Facebook was just getting started, and iPod Minis were flying off the shelves. Oh, and National Schools Partnership (run by brand and social impact agency We Are Futures) was born to connect brands to young people, teachers, families and communities.

They say 80-90% of startups don't make it, with most disappearing in the first few years. But here we are, 21 years later, having worked with over 100 clients, reaching 20 million young people.

Our hundreds of education initiatives have reached schools across every corner of the UK, from Land's End to John o' Groats and everywhere in between, covering all curriculum subjects and phases of education.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Our incredible team, our amazing clients, the National Schools Partnership teacher community and all the young people we've worked with.

Here’s to the next 21 years of impact, innovation, and inspiring the next generation!
