Prize Promotion Terms and Conditions

 

Win a Lego Workshop with Affinity Water (September 2025)

By entering this win promotion (the “Promotion”) you (the “Participant”) agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”).

 

Any information or instructions published by the Promoter about the Promotion on the National Schools Partnership website (“Website”) at https://www.nationalschoolspartnership.com/ form part of these Terms and Conditions.  

 

The Promoter   

We are Futures Limited, 1 Paris Garden, London SE1 8ND, Company number 05082340.  

 

Eligibility   

·        This Promotion is open for entry to primary school teachers who are staff of primary schools located in the Affinity Water supply area (“Participants”). You can view the area to check whether your school is eligible at the following link: https://www.affinitywater.co.uk/our-supply-area. Prizes will be awarded to winning schools located in this area only. No other schools are eligible for this Promotion.

·        The workshop prize is suitable only for pupils in Years 4–6.

·        Participants must be aged 18 or over and employed at the school at the time of Entry and prize fulfilment.

·        Participants with immediate family members who are employees of Affinity Water Limited or We are Futures Limited are not eligible to enter.

 

Prizes   

·        There are 28 free workshop day prizes, with each of 28 winning primary schools getting 2 free in-person Affinity Water x LEGO workshop sessions at the winning Participants’ school - one in the morning and one in the afternoon on the same day.

·        The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.

·        Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be substituted by the winners.

 

Promotion Period   

·        The Promotion will open at 09:00 (GMT) on 15th September 2025 and will close once all 28 workshop prizes have been allocated.

·        Once the Promotion has closed, a notice will be placed on the Website no later than the following working day.

 

Entry Rules   

·        To enter the Promotion, eligible Participants must:

o       visit the Website and register with the Affinity Water: Water Smart registration page;

o       tick the box to enter the promotion; and

o       download the teaching materials.

·        You must identify your current school in your account on the Website. Please ensure your school is correctly identified in ‘Account Settings > Current Institution’.

·        Participants may only enter once. If multiple registrations are made from the same teacher, all additional Entries will be disregarded.

·        Registrations or downloads that are incomplete will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for technical issues that cause lost, delayed, or damaged data during the transmission of registrations and downloads or any communication.

·        Entries must be made by the Participant and must not be made through agents or third parties.

·        The Promoter reserves the right at its absolute discretion to disqualify Entries which it considers do not comply with these Terms and Conditions or any Participant who it reasonably believes has interfered with the fair running of this Promotion.

·        The Promoter shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, age, employer, and other relevant details of a Participant.

·        Internet access is required.

·        No purchase is necessary.

 

Winner Selection   

·        Entries will be accepted until all 28 workshop prizes are allocated, after which the Promotion will be closed no later than the following working day.

·        Winners will be notified using the email address associated with their National Schools Partnership account within 14 days of their registration and downloads.  

·        If a winner or substitute winner is unreachable (within 48 hours) or is otherwise deemed ineligible according to the Eligibility rules, the winner or substitute winner shall forfeit their Prize and it will be awarded to the next eligible Participant, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.  

·        Winners will be notified by our third-party partner, Getech, who is hosting and organising the workshop.

·        The workshops must be scheduled on a mutually agreed date by the end of March 2026 latest, otherwise the prize will be forfeited.

·        The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

Privacy and Data Protection   

·        Personal data will be processed in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

·        Other than as set out in these Terms and Conditions or for the purposes of operating the Promotion, the details and information provided by the Participant when entering the Promotion or claiming the Prize will not be used for any promotional purpose, nor shall they be passed to any third party other than the following:  

o   We Are Futures Limited, the privacy policy explaining how your is used can be found at https://www.nationalschoolspartnership.com/privacy-policy/

o   Getech Limited, solely for the purposes of prize fulfilment. The privacy policy for Getech can be found at https://www.getech.co.uk/privacy_policy/

·        By participating in the Promotion, the Participant hereby acknowledges such personal information being used for these purposes according to the privacy policies noted above. 

 

General   

·        The Promoter shall not be liable for any interruption to this Promotion whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond the Promoter’s control.  

·        The Promoter reserves the right, acting reasonably and in accordance with all relevant legislation and codes of practice, to vary the Terms and Conditions of this Promotion.  

·        The Promoter will not be responsible or liable for: (a) any failure to receive Entries due to transmission failures and other conditions beyond its reasonable control; (b) any late, lost, misrouted, or damaged transmissions or entries; (c) any computer or communications related malfunctions or failures; (d) any disruptions, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of the Promoter; or (e) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Promotion.  

·        Winners are responsible for any tax implications as a result of accepting the Prize and should seek independent advice if necessary.

·        By entering the Promotion, the Participant agrees to release the Promoter from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Promotion or with the acceptance, possession or use of any Prize (except death or personal injury caused by the Promoter’s negligence, for fraud, or otherwise as prohibited by law).  

·        If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

·        These Terms and Conditions are available on request in a printable format.

·        This Promotion is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
