Sure Breaking Limits Awards (Primary) Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the Sure Breaking Limits Awards ("Awards"). By submitting a nomination or participating in the Awards, you agree to abide by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
1.1 The Awards are open to all schools and students within the age range of 9-14 years old in the United Kingdom.
1.2 Teachers can submit nominations on behalf of students, including multiple nominations from the same school.
1.3 Nominations must be submitted by a teacher or school representative.
1.4 Nominations will be judged based on the criteria set out below and are not subject to location or school type restrictions, though the format of prize fulfillment may vary depending on the winner's location.
1.5 The Awards are not open to employees or immediate family members of Sure, Rexona, We Are Futures, or their affiliates.
2. Nomination Process
2.1 To submit a nomination, teachers must complete the nomination form by the close date of the competition (6 June 2025).
2.2 Nominations may be submitted in written or video format. Video files must not exceed 100MB, and written submissions must adhere to the word count limit.
2.3 Teachers may submit as many nominations as they wish, but each nomination must meet the specified criteria to be considered valid.
2.4 Nominations that contain inappropriate content or fail to meet the criteria may be disqualified.
2.5 Submissions should include:
- The name of the student(s) nominated.
- The age of the student(s).
- The school name.
- The reasons the student(s) deserve recognition.
- How the student(s) have grown and overcome challenges.
- How the student(s) have inspired others.
2.6 The deadline for nominations is 6 June 2025. Late entries will not be accepted.
3. Judging Criteria
3.1 Nominations will be judged based on the following criteria:
- Personal Growth (50%)
- Overcoming Challenges (30%)
- Inspiring Others (20%)
3.2 A panel consisting of Rexona representatives and 2-3 Olympians/sports figures will make the final decision.
3.3 We Are Futures (the team who manage NSP and help to facilitate the awards) will shortlist approximately 10 nominations before the final selection.
3.4 Judges' involvement will be publicly shared on social media platforms.
4. Prizes
4.1 The winners of the Awards will receive the following prizes:
- Individual Prize: An Olympian Visit and Meet & Greet (including lunch with the student, nominating teacher, and select friends), a Sure Goodie Bag, and a certificate. A filmed interview with the talent and student may also be conducted for potential content use.
- Winner’s Story Amplification: Winners will have their story captured and shared on Sure social channels and potentially used in future resources.
4.2 Rex Packs may include practical movement gear (such as bibs, balls, cones, water bottles), Sure deo products for sampling, and lanyards.
4.3 All prizes are subject to availability and may vary depending on location.
4.4 No monetary prizes will be awarded. All prizes are experiential.
4.5 No adjustments, rescheduling, or compensation will be provided for late cancellations or date changes.
5. Media Consent
5.1 By submitting a nomination, you agree to the potential use of photos, videos, and other media taken during the Awards process for promotional purposes on Sure, Rexona, and We Are Futures social media platforms, websites, and other marketing materials.
5.2 Consent for media use is required, and all media will be used for one year before being deleted.
5.3 It is the responsibility of the teacher or school to obtain consent from parents or guardians of the nominated student(s) for media usage.
6. Disqualification and Ineligibility
6.1 Nominations may be disqualified if they contain inappropriate content, do not meet the submission criteria, or if the student is found to be ineligible.
6.2 If a winner is disqualified or ineligible, We Are Futures will contact them directly to select an alternate winner.
7. Liability and Legal Information
7.1 The Awards team, Sure, Rexona, and We Are Futures are not responsible for any damages, issues, or problems that arise during participation in the Awards.
7.2 The Awards team is not responsible for lost or late nominations, technical issues, or other issues beyond their control.
7.3 By entering, participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sure, Rexona, and We Are Futures, their affiliates, and partners from any liability arising out of or in connection with the Awards.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
8.1 Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws. It is the responsibility of the teacher or school to ensure that consent has been obtained from parents/guardians for any personal data shared as part of the nomination.
8.2 We Are Futures will handle personal data in line with its privacy policy, and personal information will only be shared with third parties as necessary for prize fulfillment or as required by law.
8.3 Personal data will not be used for marketing purposes without explicit consent from the nominee or their parent/guardian.
9. Force Majeure
9.1 If an event related to the Awards is canceled or delayed due to circumstances beyond the control of the organisers (such as natural disasters, pandemics, or other unforeseen events), the organisers will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the event or fulfill the prize in an alternative manner.
10. Dispute Resolution

10.2 Any disputes arising from participation in the Awards will be subject to the laws of the United Kingdom.
11. General Disclaimers
11.1 The Awards organisers are not responsible for lost entries, technical issues, or other complications that may arise during the submission process.
11.2 The Awards organisers reserve the right to amend or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
12. Agreement
By submitting a nomination or participating in the Sure Breaking Limits Awards, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
