Eligibility
- This Promotion is open for entry to school teachers who are staff of schools located in Scotland (“Participants”). Card packs will be sent to school addresses located in this area only. No other schools are eligible for this Promotion.
- Participants must be aged 18 or over and employed at the school at the time of entry and fulfilment.
- The Promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility, including requiring proof of school affiliation.
- Participants with immediate family members who are employees of Scottish Water Limited or We Are Futures Limited are not eligible to enter.
Promotion Period
- The Promotion will open at 09:00 on 27th October 2025 and will close once all card packs have been allocated.
- Once the Promotion has closed, a notice will be placed on the Website no later than the following working day.
Qualification Rules
- To receive a free card pack, eligible Participants must:
- visit the Website and register with the Generation H2O initiative page; and
- download all the Careers Cards, Pitch for the Planet and Map your Future resources.
- You must identify your current school in your account on the Website. Please ensure your school is correctly identified in ‘Account Settings > Current Institution’.
- Participants may only enter once to qualify their school. Where multiple registrations are made from the same teacher, or multiple teachers participate from a school, only the first will qualify.
- Registrations or downloads that are incomplete will be deemed invalid.
- Internet access is required.
- No purchase is necessary.
Card pack availability
- There are 70 free card packs available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- A school can only receive one card pack.
- Successful Participants will be notified using the email address associated with their National Schools Partnership account within 14 days of their registration and downloads.
- Cards will usually be dispatched by post within 28 days.
- The Promoter is not responsible for card packs lost or damaged in transit.
Privacy and Data Protection
- Personal data will be processed in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

- Data shall be passed to the following Data Processor(s) for the purposes of fulfilling the promotion:

Entry Period
- The Competition will open at 09:00 on 27th October 2025 and will close at 23:59 on 12th December 2025.
- Entries made outside of the entry period will not be valid.
How to Enter
- Teachers must register with the Scottish Water Generation H2O on the Website to download the competition pack and resources.
- After supporting their pupils to complete the creative activity, teachers should upload an image of the pupils’ creative work to Instagram, X, Facebook and TikTok using the hashtag #GenH2OforCOP .
- Internet access is required.
- No purchase is necessary.
Safeguarding and Permission
- Only teachers aged 18 or over may participate in this Competition and must not encourage children to use social media for the purposes of this Competition.
- Teachers must ensure that no pupils can be identified in any submitted or publicly shared content. Entries must not include pupils’ names, initials, pictures of faces, or other identifiable features.
- Only images of the creative work itself should be shared.
- By posting on social media using the Competition hashtag, teachers acknowledge that their social media post will be public and may identify their school. Teachers must ensure that no personal data or imagery of pupils is included in any posts.
- Participants must follow their school’s safeguarding and data protection policies and gain any required permission from their school leadership before participating.
- Entries that include identifiable pupil information will be disqualified.
Prize Details
- There is one (1) prize: a free Education Workshop for the winning school, delivered on-site at the school by the Scottish Water team.
- The workshop date will be arranged at a mutually convenient time between January-March 2026, subject to availability.
- The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or substituted, except that the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary, due to circumstances beyond its control.
Winner Selection and Notification
- The winning entry will be selected by a judging panel appointed by the Promoter, based on criteria such as creativity, effort, and relevance to the theme.
- The winner will be selected by 12th January 2026 and contacted via social media DM. The winner must provide the email address to prove successful registration to the National Schools Partnership.
- The winning school must confirm acceptance of the prize within five (5) working days of notification. Failure to respond within this time or inability to accept the prize will result in forfeiture, and the Promoter may select an alternative winner.
- The Promoter may publicly announce the winning teacher’s name and school (but not individual pupil details), unless the winner objects at the time of acceptance.
