National Schools Partnership is excited to tell you about ‘Eye Know Eye Care’, a wonderful KS2 educational resource using eyes as the topic to deliver against Science, PSHE, English, Maths and D&T.
Downloadable resources include:
Printed resources
The first 1000 schools to register will receive printed resources for every KS2 Pupil:
The programme is being run as part of a national campaign to help highlight the importance of children’s eye health, demystify eye tests for children and remind parents that free eye tests are available to all children aged 16 and under. Eye health problems often remain undetected in primary school children and could cause them difficulties at school, including behavioural problems. According to a recent survey, 38% of children go to the optometrist every two years, compared to 92% visiting the dentist.
**By registering to receive these resources, you agree that an optician can contact your school to arrange an optional visit.
