Now that you have received your Sun Protection pack you can download the teachers’ notes, teachers’ overview, ‘design a hat’ prize draw sheet and launch assembly presentations to help you carry out your Sun Protection activities.
Please remember to hand out the parents’ leaflets included in your pack, to your pupils to take home, so all parents are fully informed of how to help protect their kids from the sun this summer.

Prize draw Terms and Conditions 1. Prize draw is open to children aged 16 years and under, with the exception of Promoter employees and their immediate families, the Promoter’s agents or anyone else professionally connected with the promotion. 2. To enter, children must create a design for the blank sun hat. They should use creativity and be as original as possible. 3. Entries can include images and words and can be in colour or monochrome. Incomplete, illegal, illegible, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted. 4. Any entries containing abusive, inappropriate, offensive or obscene language or drawings will be disqualified. Examples of language/images considered to be inappropriate, offensive or obscene, include (but are not limited to): any message/image which contains (a) swearing; (b) comments or actions which appear to be discriminatory of any person, company or group of individuals, for example comments of a racist, sexist or homophobic nature; (c) sexual innuendo, sexual language or sexual acts, actions or gestures; (d) promoting any illegal unlawful activity such as drug use; and (e) any message that appears to be an advertisement or solicitation to buy. 5. Any entries which may breach the intellectual property rights of a third party (e.g. exhibiting third party brand names) may not be used. 6. To enter, children need to complete the entry form, draw their hat design and submit by sending their entry to: Hat Prize draw, National Schools Partnership, One Hardwick’s Square, Wandsworth, London, SW18 4AW. 7. Entrants must procure parental consent before entering. 8. One entry per person. 9. Entry to the prize draw is free. No purchase necessary. 10. Responsibility cannot be accepted for lost, damaged or delayed entries. 11. Entries must be received on or before 17th July 2010. The promoter reserves the right to revise this date and extend the period for accepting entries to the prize draw in the event of circumstances arising beyond its reasonable control. 12. The winner will be selected at random from all entries on 21st July 2010 under independent supervision and will be notified by email on the same day. 13. To enquire about name of winner, please write to National Schools Partnership, One Hardwick’s Square, Wandsworth, London SW18 4AW. 14. The winner must accept their prize within 28 days of notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules. 15. If the prize is declined or if the winner forfeits the prize under these terms or conditions, then the judges may at their absolute discretion select an alternative winner. 16. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 17. The winning pupil will receive a trip for 4 people to the Iberostar Mirabello Beach Village, Crete, Greece, as well as a goody box of games for their class, and a sun protection gazebo for their school. 18. Trip is for 2 adults and 2 children under 12 years of age to the Iberostar Mirabello Beach Village, Crete, Greece including return airfares from London and 7 nights’ accommodation. Prize includes return transfers and breakfast and evening meals. 19. Passports and visas are the responsibility of the winner. 20. Any amendments made by the winner after the booking is confirmed will be subject to administration charges to be paid for by the winner 21. Travel to be taken during periods selected by the promoter. Travel not permitted over Christmas, New Year, Easter & Bank Holidays. Promoter reserves the right to restrict travel period. 22. The promoter reserves the right to change the prizes at any time in the event of circumstances arising beyond its reasonable control. 23. The winner will be expected to and must be prepared to take part in publicity accompanying or resulting from the promotion. No additional compensation will be awarded for such promotional activities. 24. Entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions. 25. Information collected by the Promoter in this promotion is done so under the guidelines of the Data Protection Act and all information is held in accordance with the principles laid down by the Act. By entering the promotion, participants consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this promotion. 26. These terms and conditions are made under English law and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any proceedings in connection with this promotion. 27. Entries cannot be returned and are the property of the promoter. Copyright and all other rights and interests in each entry will be and are hereby assigned to the promoter. The entries may be used for post-event publicity (including local newspapers) or for internal purposes including newsletters and presentations. 28.
