Introducing the Ready, Steady Snow! Key Stage 1
story writing competition
The autumn school term is now well underway and with the annual ‘countdown
to Christmas’ just around the corner National Schools Partnership is pleased to
bring you a great festive competition.
The Monarch Travel Group has been taking families on holiday to Lapland for
more than 20 years and to celebrate the festive season this year they are
running a nationwide storytelling competition. Children need to write a story
to Father Christmas describing a time when they have helped someone else.
National Schools Partnership has created a special entry form with a KS1 word
bank for pupils and guidance on how to complete their entry.
