The flexible, easy to use resources will provide teachers with ideas and lesson plans to use in class to engage 11 to 14 year old boys in particular to read more in and outside of the classroom. All resources have been specially designed by English teachers to work in support of the KS3 curriculum and the renewed National Strategy Framework for English. They also suggest crosscurricular opportunities.

The resources can be run as discrete units to use in class or feed into bigger school projects. Crucially, they engage with the key concepts, processes and content of English and other curriculum areas, so that reading can also happen in a wider context. They will keep even the most innovative teachers on a journey of exploration with the teaching of reading.

We have FREE CD-ROMs of the resources to give away to the first 500 schools to sign up.
