Welcome to the ‘I’m A Detective’ teacher resource download page.

Unfortunately all physical resources have now been exhausted, but below you can still download the teacher notes and Power point slides for the interactive white board, as well as pupil worksheets, detective skills posters and leaflets to enter our fantastic competition.

These brand new resources will encourage pupils to use a detective’s thinking skills to solve problems and unravel mysteries. Resources focus on ‘learning how to learn’ and are structured around the Thinking Skills embedded in the National Curriculum, translated into ‘Detective Skills’.

Produced by specialist teachers, this stimulating detective themed resource and related competition will help you deliver key aspects of the Science and Maths curriculum, while also linking to numerous cross-curricular activities.




Your school could win a class viewing to see The Pink Panther 2 movie at a cinema local to your school, plus £500 worth of classroom equipment of your choice. One pupil could win a family trip to Paris, including travel, accommodation, entrance to the Eiffel Tower and some spending money Competition entry forms can be downloaded from this site, or found on the back page of the detective booklets you will have received if you were within the first 1000 schools to register. Competition entry deadline is 4th March 2009 so get your entries in as soon as you can!
