‘This is Us!’
A Friendship and Fashion project to celebrate young people
Brought to you by the makers of CLEAN & CLEAR ® skin care products for
teens and developed by National Schools Partnership, ‘This is Us!’is a programme designed to help you deliver on PSHE/Citizenship objectives.
It aims to encourage young people to recognise and value themselves
and their friendships, celebrating everything that is great
about being a teen:
  • Engaging discussions and creative activities on the
    importance of healthy friendships
  • Teamwork activities to initiate and organise a fashion
    show and raise their communications skills
  • Fun, multi-media competition to celebrate what is great
    about being a teen, providing an opportunity to win
    fantastic prizes and engage your students in Enterprise

Ideal for KS3 (11 to 14 year olds)
the project can work in two ways:
  • As individual sessions
  • As a succession of sessions culminating in a fashion
    show or multi-media competition/exhibition
It also provides an ideal opportunity for:
  • A Transition Programme for new students
  • An Enterprise project
  • A Community Cohesion project
When the lessons are used in succession, the
ideal outcome of the project is a ‘fashion show’
or ‘multi-media competition’. Students can display their
designs and present their work to teachers, peers,
families and other community members. This can
simply be on a small scale within the class or year
group, or on a scale agreed by the PSHCE
coordinator and Senior Leadership Team – which
may vary from a single class presenting their work,
to a whole school fashion show involving the
wider community and external agencies.
